Xavier University - Hoff Academic Quadrangle

The Hoff Academic Quadrangle project is the first phase of ambitious expansion plans which Xavier University has embarked upon. The project includes two new academic buildings, The Williams College of Business and The Conaton Learning Commons, supported by a new Central Utility Plant. The College of Business and the Learning Commons create a new public face for the campus with towers flanking a new landscaped boulevard, and defining the Hoff Academic Quadrangle.
With a new network of walks, plazas, and landscape spaces, the project furthers the goal of creating a campus in a park like setting. The project area and the campus alike have a significant amount of elevation change, creating numerous opportunities forlandscape structures and creative landforms shaping outdoor spaces and creating connections through the campus. The center piece of the Hoff Academic Quadrangle is a large plaza space with a large fountain feature, and a connection to a future ceremonial stair case.
